How long does it take to build a website ?
The size and complexity of the website will determine how long it takes to develop. Smaller sites can take as little as a week, whereas larger websites may take up to a month or more to complete, depending on our current work schedule. We can advise a starting date at time of enquiry.
Copyright
All material including text and images, supplied by the client will remain the client's property. The client is completely responsible for securing all necessary licenses or permissions for content that is supplied to Impact Websites. All such material supplied by the client will be assumed to be the property of the client and therefore free to use in any development without fear of breach of copyright laws. The copyright for all material provided by Impact Websites such as code, graphics, photographs, images and text, will remain the property of Impact Websites until such time as payment has been made in full whereupon they will become the property of the client.
What are the accepted formats for website content ?
Images - JPG (.jpg) or GIF (.gif) format.
Text - standard Windows word processing formats (Notepad or Word Pad) or plain text emails.
We don't accept Macintosh formats.
Where do I send the content for my website ?
Content (text, images, logo) may be emailed as an attachment to:

Do you create Database or Ecommerce websites ?
No, we specialise in "Brochure Style" XHTML/CSS websites. Our niche market is catering to small businesses not wanting to spend thousands of dollars on a website.
How can I get my website updated ?
We provide website maintenance at the rate of $40 per hour (or part there of) Once informed of the of the changes required, we can provide you with a quote. Very minor updates are usually done for free, at our discretion.
What is Website Hosting ?
Your website needs to be uploaded to a computer server, which then makes it accessible to anyone connected to the Internet. This involves paying a monthly/annual fee for this service. We suggest VentraIP for your Website Hosting requirements.
What is a Domain Name ?
A domain name is the address used to locate your website on the Internet. When typed into a web browser, will display your website. We suggest VentraIP for your Domain Name requirements.
